Nikolaj Coster-Waldau ( Danish pronunciation:  [neɡ̊olaɪ̯ kʰʌsd̥ɐ ˈʋald̥ɑʊ̯] ; born 27 July 1970) is a Danish actor, producer and screenwriter. He graduated from Danish National School of Theatre in Copenhagen in 1993. Coster-Waldau's breakthrough performance in Denmark was his role in the film Nightwatch (1994). Since then he has appeared in numerous films in his native Scandinavia and Europe in general, including Headhunters (2011) and A Thousand Times Good Night (2013).

In an interview with Radio Times, Nikolaj may have let something slip in terms of what is coming for season seven. When asked about Jaime’s love for Cersei (Lena Headey), Nikolaj said that there may be new suitors. So could we be getting a marriage proposal to Queen Cersei from of all people Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbæk)? Remember he did say he was going to sail to Meereen to offer Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) his cock. Could Cersei be the recipient of such a gift? Too funny. Read the article.

Nikolaj says that, as a Dane, his approach to being happy in life is to keep his expectations low and realistic, so he can be pleasantly surprised when he surpasses them, instead of constantly chasing after implausible goals. [1]
